NATIONAL NETWORK TO END DOMESTIC VIOLENCE
Actually, all they really want is to keep that funding coming!
Government-sponsored hate - now that's a concept!
The NNEDV works proactively on Capitol Hill to ensure that the voices of battered women and their children are heard in the halls of Congress. Our priorities for the 108th Congress include increasing funding for the Victims of Crime Act (VOCA), ensuring full funding for the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA), and working to make welfare programs more responsive to the needs of [some] victims of domestic violence.
You can take action today by writing or calling your members of Congress about these important issues. Learn the issues, stay informed, but most of all, TAKE ACTION. Go to Congress. Call NNEDV (202)543-5566 if you have any questions about the critical issues affecting battered women and their children, and how they are being addressed in the 108th Congress.
And they're not giving anything away for free!
